Westlife is an Irish pop band that was formed in 1998. They were signed on by Simon Cowell and the band is currently managed by Louis Walsh. In recent years, Westlife's music has evolved from boy band teen pop to a more adult contemporary sound, with an emphasis on ballads.
The band is considered as one of the most successful pop group of the 21st Century with more than 40 million sold records worldwide to date and placed 5th as the best selling artist of the 21st Century in UK just behind Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Dido, and Eminem. Westlife currently have 33 number one albums worldwide.
